Drug Dexamethasone - Steroid
Dexamethasone, a corticosteroid, is similar to a natural hormone produced by your adrenal glands. It often is used to replace this chemical when your body does not make enough of it. It relieves inflammation (swelling, heat, redness, and pain) and is used to treat certain forms of arthritis; skin, blood, kidney, eye, thyroid, and intestinal disorders (e.g., colitis); severe allergies; and asthma. Dexamethasone is also used to treat certain types of cancer.

always the side effects, yikes!
I didn't need that pill to have my own little bitch session last night. I was all over everyone, but only the people I'm doing business with right now, not my loved ones. I told my husband "I hate people". Why do people have to complicate things so much?
Hope the new pill works in the positive ways for you and leaves out all the negative side effects.
Just think of it like going through puberty all over again--that's the effect the "dex" had on me: crazy moods, acne, boredom, sleeplessness, weight gain, social anxiety, endless chatterboxiness, aching muscles, lack of concentration, and thinking about sex too often, without being able to do anything about it!
After putting me on several mind-altering drugs (including dex, gabapentin for neuropathy, sleeping pills, etc., not to mention the chemo and a few surgeries), my oncologist fired me (i.e., refused to continue as my doctor) because he didn't like my new personality! He bailed out on me, right in the middle of me having a medical crisis due to a surgery complications. How's that for humane compassionate doctoring!?!?
So now I have a an "F-it-all" attitude, which is basically that I will do "my part" as best I can, but am not going to worry if other people don't quite measure up in whatever way. I just don't have energy for fretting too much about being diplomatic. I can't control what other people do (with the effects of drugs and treatments, I can barely control what I do), so I have to accept the good, the bad, and the ugly, even when other people are sometimes F'ing me over.
Thank heavens me and my wife are solid, and she understands and will stick with me when I go nuts, but even with her, every couple of weeks we have to "have it out good" to clear the air. We end up crying like babies and smearing hot snot all over each other's faces, and then we hug and it's over with, and we're more in love than ever.
Man, this stuff is too tough in too many ways. Too bad most people just can't see that, because people have limits, but that's the way it is.
Okay, I'm glad I got that out of my system, and boy do I feel better!
I like your new club!
