Thanks for the update!
So glad you...Hey RadiaGal,

Thanks for the update!

So glad you're managing your radiation treatments okay. I know it must be hard. (Once again, I'm the master of understatement!)

It seems so strange that you guys in NY can have a huricane and snow all at the same time. Here on the Gulf Coast, we get our share of huricanes (Ike was our last biggie), but when they knock out our electricity, we don't freeze--we boil. But we get them often enough that our state and local governments, and the people themselves, are usually able to deal with the aftermath more efficiently.

You might have noticed that I still haven't gotten around to putting anything new on my blog. Someday soon . . . just too busy these days. I can't believe the holidays are almost here. It's been a crazy year, kinda difficult with the liver surgery and the recupe from that, but I guess I should be thankful that it went by so quickly.

I'm too lazy to collect blankets (we don't even use blankets here in Houston), so instead I made a contribution--in honor of RadiaGal-- to the Red Cross for the people hit by Sandy. (When the Red Cross sends me the link to the ecard for the donation, I'll try to post it in a comment here on your blog.)The Astonishing FartManhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01979814835615698427noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4409756465500155346.post-65074137231041404622012-11-10T08:15:21.996-08:002012-11-10T08:15:21.996-08:00Michelle..my beautiful friend from CSH!
